Michael E. Milne
Founder
Michael E. Milne is the founder of the Milne Law Group, P.A., which is located in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Milne is board certified in construction law by the Florida Bar. He is specialized in handling complex multi-party multimillion dollar litigation, including construction defect and payment disputes. He also has vast experience in handling claims for delays, professional design errors and omissions, equitable adjustments, and lien/bond disputes. Mr. Milne has represented all tiers of the construction industry, including the following: owners, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and material suppliers.
Mr. Milne has significant experience with issues involving building envelope claims, mechanic’s liens, architectural design and engineering. He has lectured several seminars on lien law and performance and payment bonds. Mr. Milne also has extensive experience in contract drafting/updates for owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
He has worked with several different insurance companies and understands the intricacies of insurance defense. Milne Law Group, P.A. is panel counsel for over six insurance carriers. Mr. Milne has represented wide range of companies including small subcontractor companies to large general contractors and design professionals with general counsel. Mr. Milne has been nominated as a Super Lawyer in the area of Construction Litigation between 2012 to 2024.
